Sònia Gardés has more than ten years of experience in sfx makeup and prop making for film, events and theatre. She has worked for DDT sfx, winners of an Oscar for the Pan's Labyrinth (2006), in the films Broken Embraces, by Pedro Almodóvar (2009) and Agora, by Alejandro Amenábar (2009). She has worked as a freelance makeup artist for several companies and artists in Spain and the United Kingdom including Vision Mechanics, AJ Taudevin and Molins de Rei Terror Film Festival, amongst others.
